The global trend in power generation goes to renewables (e.g. wind or solar) and smaller, more efficient, gas turbines, the so called “aero derivative” gas turbines.

For both applications, uninterruptable power supply systems (UPS) are necessary. As a major global supplier of UPS systems, Statron of course also supplies UPS to both power generation applications, renewables and highly efficient gas turbines. The latest success of Statron is the UL-certification of its Modular Power Supplies (MPS). With that certification, Statron is able to deliver also to the US-market or to companies outside the US with business inside the US. With that successful certification, Statron follows a long tradition. We have been supplying such systems for well-known global players in the power generation market for almost a decade. The center of that production is based in our subsidiary and second production line in Budapest, Hungary.
