One of the largest exhibitions for airport equipment closed its doors at November 12th. Statron took place at this exhibition with its partner for ground support equipment ITW GSE. Both companies look back on a very successful exhibition. Although the circumstances were not easy due to the Covid-restrictions, a high number of visitors were at the booth and excellent talks could be taken. No doubt, the star at the booth was the 7400 eGPU! The battery-powered 7400 eGPU is ideal for gates and hangars with no fixed 400 Hz installations. This battery powered ground power unit is a game changer in the ongoing quest for lowering the environmental impact of airports. An eGPU is the fastest short-cut to a greener and healthier environment. Exchanging only one diesel GPU with an eGPU, reduces CO2 emissions by 90% and NOx by 95%. Actually, you can save 190,000 lbs CO2 emissions per year. Statron was already very successful in selling and installing several eGPU’s in the region of Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands.
